How to Judge If a Product Belongs to NBTC – SDOC or CLASS A or CLASS B?

The NBTC divides telecommunication equipment that must be inspected and certified into three categories:

1. Class A equipment: The telecommunication equipment which conformed against prescribed technical standard or technical requirement of NBTC -Class A scope has to be registered with the Office of NBTC. The below table 1 is example of the Class A equipment.

2. Class B equipment: The telecommunication equipment which conformed against prescribed technical standard or technical requirement of NBTC -Class B scope has to be certified by the Office of NBTC. The below table 2 is example of the Class B equipment.

3. SDoC equipment: The telecommunication equipment which subject to Supplier ‘s Declaration of Conformity (SDoC) scheme that had prescribed by NBTC -SDoC technical standard or technical requirement, does not require such equipment to be registered or certified. But supplier has to provide written attestation that the equipment conforms to such standard or requirement using Supplier’s Declaration of Conformity (SDoC) form. The below table 3 is example of the telecommunication equipment subject to SDoC.
